Can you imagine fighting the battle against cancer? The tremendous strength it requires. Can you grasp the depth of courage needed to endure treatment and the profound changes, both physical and emotional, that accompany it? And beyond that, to take a leap of faith and participate in a groundbreaking drug treatment program?

Writer/performer Gail Thomas has lived what most of us can only imagine. And on top of it all, with unwavering courage, she takes the stage armed with a single chair, and shares her extraordinary journey with us.

Her performance in PATIENT 13 is a gripping roller coaster ride of emotions. As she skillfully recounts her story, I am in awe of her perseverance and impressed by her resilience. I was deeply moved witnessing her standing ovation, seeing the tears of joy streaming down her face.  It was evident that this group of people truly understood her story. They connected with her on a level that surpassed words. They recognized with an abundant display of compassion her unwavering strength of her spirit, offering a profound glimpse into the true meaning of empowerment. And for her, it was a moment of healing.

Go for the story and leave with Hope.
