This week Gia On The Move had the good fortune (and good taste!) to be invited the Grand Opening media preview of the new Detour Bistro Bar located in Culver City, California a swanky new watering hole, created by partners Ranni Kumgisky and Dane Pearson of Great Dane Catering and Events.

The Detour Bistro Bar features house-made European Cuisine with farm-to-table produce and an unmatched hand-selected by-the-glass wine program. True to its press this place was not only a breath of fresh air in one of the more up & coming locations in town, but without a doubt offers a perfect, simple, mouthwatering menu that 100% delivered on cuisine and libations.

My favorites:
White wine lovers absolutely must indulge in the Turo’ Negre – Spanish Blend
For food…serving, “hands-down” the BEST Mini Cubano this side of Miami Beach.
The Mushroom Risotto served on endive was a tie and not to be ignored under any circumstance.
