‘We Are Driven By Time’: Trevor Undi and the Man on the Moon

OMEGA: On the Subject of Time

Released early this morning, director Trevor Undi has created a new ad for the Swiss luxury watchmaker…

In this emotionally captivating new film for OMEGA, we consider the philosophy of time and journey to the moon and back (feat. original footage from Neil Armstrong’s spectacular 1969 moon landing and moments from the feature film First Man starring Ryan Gosling), while showcasing Omega’s groundbreaking design and craftsmanship, proving far more stirring than your typical watch ad.

Fun facts from Wikipedia:

Britain’s Royal Flying Corps chose Omega watches in 1917 as its official timekeepers for its combat units, as did the U.S. Army in 1918. Omega watches were the choice of NASA, and worn by Buzz Aldrin, American astronaut and Lunar Module Pilot on the Apollo 11 mission along with mission commander Neil Armstrong, making Omega the first watch on the moon in 1969.

Omega has been the official timekeeping device of the Olympic Games since 1932. James Bond has worn it in films since 1995; other famous Omega wearers, past and present, include Elvis Presley, John F. Kennedy and Prince William.
