The long anticipated 13th Annual San Diego Restaurant Week returns Sunday, September 24th through Sunday, October 1st for an edible extravaganza with over 180 discounted reasons to say YUM and experience San Diego’s thriving culinary scene!

Over 180 participating restaurants will offer three-course prix-fixe dinner menus for $20, $30, $40 or $50 per person and/or two-course prix-fixe lunch menus for $10, $15 or $20 per person.  Participating restaurants span across the county from the South Bay to East County and to the North borders of Oceanside and Fallbrook.

Tickets are not necessary. But reservations are recommended!

Don’t just “dine out”!

One of the bigger reasons to attend is the lesser known side of San Diego Restaurant Week and the San Diego County Chapter of the California Restaurant Association which often flies under the radar:  This Restaurant Week is a community centered, philanthropic undertaking that continues long after a mere eight days of dining.

Unlike a majority of Restaurant Weeks throughout the country that are organized by for-profit companies, San Diego Restaurant Week is run as a non-profit organization; generating funds which go back into their community to support a wide variety of culinary arts and garden programs throughout San Diego’s inner-city schools.

Support and involvement in programs such as the Food 4 Kids Backpack Program, which provides backpacks of food for chronically hungry elementary school students to take home over the weekend, have shown the true reach of SDRW’s ability to utilize one week of dining to transform the lives of those in their community.
