I love serial killers. And I love Serial Killers. So when a Sacred Fools late-night Serial Killer about a serial killer hand opens, I’m gonna stick out my thumb and hitch a ride over.

Okay, I’m not gonna do any more “hand” puns because there’s no way I could do them better or more cleverly than the amazing script of RAISE YOUR HAND… FROM THE DEAD! by Natalie Nicole Dressel. It’s 45 minutes of non-stop action, pulp B-movie horror, and incredible jokes and gags (plus one or two “hand” puns sprinkled in – see if you can catch them)!

A decade after a series of killings supposedly involving a living disembodied hand (Marian Gonzalez), murders have started again and it’s up to Private Investigator Shaker (CJ Merriman) and disgraced former Animal Control Detective Palmer (Dressel) to track down the culprit. After examining victim Mr. Thumbkin (Ian Price) and grilling witness Pinky (Angela Oliver), they are led to Dr. Manos (Scott Leggett)… whose fate may be tied to this… Thing.

Across-the-board great show – writing, directing (Sofia Dutcher), performances, special effects, music – just a hoot from moment one. And in the end, it’s a really touching show. (That one wasn’t a hand pun, I swear.)

Go see this one ASAP.

Very Highly Recommended
