The fair returns to LA for fourth year; over 70 artists to take over The Kinney Venice Beach hotel for 3 days

Press Release

stARTup Art Fair is pleased to present its fourth annual Los Angeles edition to take place February 15 – February 17, 2019 at Pacifica Hotels’ The Kinney Venice Beach Hotel in Los Angeles.

The contemporary art fair turns over the chic California hotel and grounds to over 70 artists from around the country and across the state. The fair transforms The Kinney Venice Beach into an immersive, contemporary art experience through the exhibition of artwork by a diverse group of independent artists, local art nonprofits, artist performances, installations and panel discussions. Bypassing the traditional gallery system, stARTup connects hungry art buyers to highly curated up-and-coming artists.

stARTup is held the same weekend as two major gallery fairs: Frieze Los Angeles at Paramount Pictures Studio, and Art Los Angeles Contemporary at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.

Each year’s Opening Night Party (Friday, February 15 from 7-10pm) is open to all members of the public at the price of a General Admission ticket and includes, music, performances, food and drink.
