The US National Art Battle® Live Painting tournament features only one more regular season event in Los Angeles, on September 12th, 2018 Downtown at Exchange LA on S Spring Street.
Audiences of painters, art buyers, culture enthusiasts and art party lovers will assemble to vote for their favorite artist in each of three rounds. The winner will go on to the LA City Finals, and compete for an easel at the US National Championship event in November.

Each round is only 20 minutes in length, artists will compete with equal materials and a blank Fredrix® Canvas.
Sizzling DJ sets create a party-vibe during the action and in between rounds. This is a truly unique and creative high-energy event!
Confirmed competitors are: Andrew Tarusov, Azia Skeen, Blu Fernandez, Eboney Merriman, Eric Domenden, Guillermo Luna, Jen LaVita, Jessica Poon, Joseph Grescovich, K.L. Britton, Nora Bruhn, Paul Morado, Stefan Kietzman, and Yenok Khachikyan.
Sixteen artists in total will participate, with the final two being selected by random WILDCARD draw on event night. All 20 works created will be sold by silent auction on the night of the event.
Since 2001 in New York City, artists have been coming together at Art Battle events across the country, with the goal of turning a blank canvas into a magnificent creation, to share the secrets of artistic process with voting audiences, and to celebrate local and national artistic talent. The movement has spread to more than 100 cities and 6 continents, with more than 1500 events produced. From Brooklyn to Europe, South America, Asia and beyond, Art Battle has showcased incredible creative talent and built communities and relationships that support live art as a way of expression, innovation and celebration.
