‘Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger’ – Willa Amai Daft Punk Cover Video

Los Angeles Singer/songwriter and emerging artist Willa Amai (@WillaAmai) has shared a new music video today for her inspiring cover of Daft Punk’s Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. In the video, Amai gives an intimate performance of the track out in the wilderness, amplified by an array of colorful visual effects.

Earlier this year, Amai made headlines and flooded social media as the face and vocals for Intuit QuickBooks’ Backing You campaign, which celebrated music and small business owners who “dare to dream and follow their passions.” Soon after, the song was made available on all digital platforms and has steadily been picking up massive streams. The video for the campaign has since attracted almost 6 million views on the QuickBooks YouTube.

A young yet well-versed singer, Amai offers a new dimension of artistry to the song with her seemingly inherent vocal capabilities that amplify the force behind the lyrics. Since late 2016, she has worked as a protégé of multi-platinum producers Linda Perry (Gwen Stefani, P!nk, Christina Aguilera, Dorothy) and Kerry Brown (Smashing Pumpkins, Miley Cyrus, Ziggy Marley) at We Are Hear, a combination record label, publishing house, and management company.

Willa Amai attributes much of her craft and melody to color synesthesia, a neurological phenomenon that connects letters, numbers, and sounds to color.
