Art Battle®, the world’s premier live art competition, is bringing 24 Artists into the spotlight over the next week: 12 in New York City this Friday night, and 12 more next Tuesday, July 11th in Los Angeles.

Each night the audience will vote to choose the winner across 3 rounds of live painting. The winner of each event will move on to compete in City Finals with a chance to qualify for the 2018 US National Championship.

Art Battle is a series of worldwide events that form an international live painting tournament. Each event celebrates artistic excellence and invites audiences to share in the creative process while mixing in the adrenaline of competition. Through voting, the audience chooses their Champion, and their representation on the world stage. Recent international events have been held in Amsterdam, Genoa Italy, Tokyo, Sau Paulo and Manila.

The Featured Artists this week in New York are: Cameron McCool, Scott Walker, ANJL, Jak Ruiz, Jess Kirkman, Jaehoon Lee, Mariyah Tareen, Memi Nojiri, Ben Angotti and Mona Eliceiry.

The Features Artists next week in Los Angeles: Amanda Harris, Art Barbie, Bamboo, Bishop, Chris, Aubrey, Frida Davidsson, Jason aka recluse, Maria Barrera-Rojas, Michael Alatorre, Michelle Guerrero, Samantha mousser, Sany Claude Cesar, Terry Wayne

“The artists are amazing coast-to-coast, I couldn’t pick just one, that’s the audience’s job”, Chris Pemberton, Art Battle International Co-Founder and Host of this week’s NYC event. Competitor Mona Eliceiry says she’s competing because “I saw it in another city and wanted to feel the rush, the crowd, the countdown, the creation.”
