 Celebrate the holiday with special invites from these local restaurants

Brian Malarkey’s oceanside hotspot will offer $1 oysters during lunch, happy hour, and dinner in honor of National Oyster Day. Guests can enjoy them à la carte with a glass of wine or specialty cocktail in the restaurant’s beachy chic lounge, or as an appetizer before indulging in hearty surf & turf selections.

In addition to a newly launched menu, the classic West Hollywood restaurant is offering a daily happy hour (Tues. – Sun., 5pm – close) available at the bar an in the lounge. Guests can take advantage of $1 oysters to celebrate the occasion, as well as $3 small bites (think: baked parmigiano fries, flatbreads, truffle mushroom arancini, and more), $5 beers, $6 well drinks, $7 sangria/martinis/margaritas, and $8 prosecco.

Diners who visit one of LA’s most iconic – and stunning – restaurant patios on National Oyster Day can enjoy a ½ dozen bivalves for $21; boozy complements include signature cocktails (with $9 specials from 4 – 6pm), by-the-glass pours from a robust international wine list, and a selection of craft beers.

On National Oyster Day the popular wine bar will be shucking oysters all night to pair perfectly with glasses of Muscadet. Enjoy varieties like Kumamoto, Shigoku and Kushi in quantities of half dozen all the way up to 4 dozen! A limited menu will also be available that evening featuring items like Jamon Iberico served with tomato toast, Iberico & Butter Sandwich, Mussels, the Marvin Cheeseburger and more!

On National Oyster Day guests can stop by the Beverly Hills restaurant to enjoy $1 oysters on the patio and lounge bar from 3pm – 11pm. Pair it with their extended happy hour and enjoy $10 glasses of Veuve Cliquot or the $10 specialty cocktail of the day!

    My mouth is watering just thinking about it! I may be forced to head to the Mediterranean to get a shell fish fix. If I were there I would be THERE!
