#MusicMonday : Mainland’s Fading Friends

mainland music

 “for all of life’s outcasts”

We featured them on our best indie albums list for 2015.  But Mainland is still the up & comer for 2016 with a tour starting on January 13th in Sacramento, CA making its way across the country.  Catch them at the Troubadour in Los Angeles on January 15th!

Ecstasy and sorrow, post-punk and pop, east and west – all those times when you’re caught in the middle, there’s Mainland. They are the soundtrack to moments of freedom and darkness.

Led by enigmatic frontman, Jordan Topf (Vocals, Guitar) and comprised of Corey Mullee (Guitar, Synth), Alex Pitta (Bass) and Joey Sulkowski (Drums).

Outcast, the eponymous EP is a diverse mix of vintage aesthetics and modern pop songwriting/production. Mainland draws from a range of influences to form one unifying collection of songs loud enough for all of life’s outcasts. Featured here is the track, Fading Friends.
