Karen Mav’s  single Take Me Home For Christmas written by Martin Isherwood and Steve Parker of KIPA, has been welcomed onto the Christmas playlist of radio stations all over the world, and the video, unveiled today, is set to melt even the hardest of hearts!

Karen MavZimbabwean born Karen Mav is a powerful and passionate singer. Born into a gospel-centred family, Karen was raised surrounded by music and cites Mariah Carey and Tina Turner as her early influences.

Described as a strong RnB /soul singer, made a name for herself in The X Factor 2015, where her first audition was described by BBC Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw as “phenomenal”.

Karen sailed through the early stages of the competition but left the process at the notorious 6-chair challenge. Her exit was met with regret from music mogul Simon Cowell and outcry in the UK’s tabloid press. Karen’s X Factor experience has encouraged her in her quest to establish herself as a professional recording artist.

Tracey Paleo is the publisher and personality of Gia On The Move. She is a Board Member/Awards Chair of the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle (LADCC). A Theater Critic, she also occasionally contributes to Broadway World Los Angeles. As a lifelong supporter of and performer within the arts, Tracey began her professional career as an actress and dancer appearing on television, radio, stage and in movie at the age of eight. Her writing career began at age twelve when she was asked to review the entire collection of the Hardy Boys Nancy Drew Mysteries as a young reviewer for the Boston Phoenix. As a performer she is most recognized for her lead role in Martin Scorsese’s, “The Departed”, as Darlene and her appearances on Law & Order Criminal Intent. She also appeared as a lead dancer in the 80s hit dance show, “Dance Jam 88”. Tracey has written for a variety of media outlets and blogs including Discover Hollywood, The Tolucan Times, and Food Truck News. She is the former Editor of FootLights Publishing.
