The SUICIDE PARTY: SAVE DAVE will have its world premiere as a special engagement at the North Hollywood CineFest on April 10 at the NoHo 7 Theater, 5240 Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood at 10 p.m. followed by a chat with the directors Jack Skyyler and Alex Zinzopoulos, writer/executive producer Gini Graham Scott, and a half dozen members of the cast and crew.
A pre-premier party will be at the Brick Yard Pub, a block from the theater, at 11130 Magnolia Blvd. from 8-9:30 pm.

Starring Steve Medvidick (MANCATION) as Dave, Rick Lundgren (THE NEIGHBOR) as Steve, and Anna Shields (THE GHOST SHIP CHRONICLES) as Gidget, the film is a dark comedy which features a lighthearted entertaining take on some very timely issues including inequality, the loss of the middle class, and economic suicide. It tells the story of a Dave, a once successful businessman on the verge of losing his house and everything he holds dear. He can’t get help from friends who are struggling, too, and decides to have a crowdfunding campaign for a suicide party with the help of his best friend Steve’s help a social media guru Gidget. If he gains enough to save his house and get back on his feet, he’ll live; if not, he’ll end it all at the party. Soon all kinds of complications and chaos ensues.
The film also features Stephen Manley who played Spock in THE SEARCH FOR SPOCK and Drea Castro, the villain of THE ACT OF VALOR and one of the featured women in Chris Rock’s film I THINK I LOVE MY WIFE.
