Serving in the US Navy as a real-life air traffic controller, singer/songwriter Dave Munro sent home 4-track demos he had written and recorded during his deployment. With his enlistment up, Munro returned to hometown Boston and discovered an impressive number of fans, prompting the genesis of the aptly-named rock band Air Traffic Controller.

“One of Boston’s finest independent bands” (WERS), Air Traffic Controller had a track named “The Best Indie Alternative Song” by the Independent Music Awards, was placed on NPR’s Hot 100 list for SXSW, and was named “Band of the Day” by The Guardian UK What: Co-headlining tour with The Tragic Thrills to build support for their forthcoming 3rd album and the new single, “The House”, produced by Bleu (Hanson, Boys Like Girls, Jonas Brothers)
