Mary Anthony, modern

It’s a real disappointment that no mention was made in your article about Virginia Jinks, the real caregiver and TRUE friend who lovingly and unselfishly cared for Mary Anthony for the majority of her final years. “Ginny”, as she’s known, cooked her meals, changed her diapers, took her to all kinds of places and parties, and kept her company – spending ALL her free time with Mary Anthony. It was no easy task, as Ginny is in her 80’s herself. It would’ve been nice to have some mention made of a friend who gave so much without asking anything in return.

Dear DANCE FRIEND,
Thank you so much for sharing such an important part of this story. Had I known before making the post, “Ginny” would have certainly made it to the page. Being a caregiver is no small task or kindness. Hopefully now, with your comment Virginia Jinks now has some measure of recognition.
