#HFF15: Four Clowns Presents The Halfwits’ Last Hurrah, reviewed

Four Clowns The Halfwits' Last Hurrah hollywood fringe

Reviewed by Tracey Paleo, Gia On The Move

It’s the hottest mess in town!

Four Clowns inaugurated the Hollywood Fringe Festival last night with a hefty dose of tumbling, revenge, sex, savor, sweet, and all-out character act silliness in it’s world premiere of The Halfwits’ Last Hurrah!  This is the quirky, ditzy, dirty, vaudeville you’ve been waiting for all year.  Interactive, adorable, kind a’ (ahem) violent occasionally and making almost no sense on purpose just because –  it’s sure to keep getting larger than life as we all Fringe on.

Fame hungry showman Butterbeans Arbuckle and his mischievous troupe of halfwits perform their way to insanity while trying to escape a vindictive old rival and quite possibly death (someone even tries to kill a puppet!).

This show is filled with every kind of carnival reject you can imagine creating the highest drama for the lowest stakes.  A potpourri of mayhem with a smile. The final moment will actually bring tears to your eyes.  “Bring in the clowns!”

Highly Recommended
