Green Label Gallery Still Accepting Street Art Until August 30th

The Intersection of Skate, Music and Art.

Mountain Dew wants into the fray of Street Art and are holding their first ever crowd-sourced gallery space opening at the Iconic Green Label Gallery in Amsterdam on August 31st, 2014.  And…they are looking for submissions from YOU!

Artists from around Europe can submit their digital street artwork until August 30th by posting on Instagram with #GreenLabelGallery.

Green Label Gallery graffitiThe Green Label Gallery exhibition will feature a stark white space with a gallery-quality printer – the HP Designjet Z3200 as its canvas.

Over the course of three days, the space will be transformed to feature vibrant and inspired artwork representing the badge of originality as artwork is printed and hung in real time along with Chaotic Bastards live art demonstrations.

Submissions featuring digital art and photos of executed street art and imaginative sketches will be curated for exhibition at the contemporary Walls Gallery in Amsterdam and on www.green-label.com/gallery.

The exhibit will be open to the public from Thursday, August 28th through Saturday, August 30th, with the complete exhibition viewable Sunday, August 31st.

Tracey Paleo is the publisher and personality of Gia On The Move. She is a Board Member/Awards Chair of the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle (LADCC). A Theater Critic, she also occasionally contributes to Broadway World Los Angeles. As a lifelong supporter of and performer within the arts, Tracey began her professional career as an actress and dancer appearing on television, radio, stage and in movie at the age of eight. Her writing career began at age twelve when she was asked to review the entire collection of the Hardy Boys Nancy Drew Mysteries as a young reviewer for the Boston Phoenix. As a performer she is most recognized for her lead role in Martin Scorsese’s, “The Departed”, as Darlene and her appearances on Law & Order Criminal Intent. She also appeared as a lead dancer in the 80s hit dance show, “Dance Jam 88”. Tracey has written for a variety of media outlets and blogs including Discover Hollywood, The Tolucan Times, and Food Truck News. She is the former Editor of FootLights Publishing.
